Summaries of IMFTF Boarding Meeting (2021/10/08)

1. The possibility of holding an offline conference in Sep 2022

    Conclusions: Presently it is difficult to hold an offline meeting given the current restriction on international travelling, requiring quarantine on arrival. It is proposed that an hybrid conference in Sept 2022 is organised instead.

2. Next step plans for IMFTF keynotes;

    Conclusions: The IMFTF keynote meeting is going well and the attendance is good. More participants are welcome. Every IMFTF member will encourage their own research group and students students to attend it.

3. Benefits for everyone (e.g. IMFTF Committee Member Certificate, IMFTF Keynote Speaker Certificate)

    Conclusions:

• IMTF Committee Member Certificate will be sent before the Christmas 2021.

• If an offline IMFTF meeting can be held in 2022, international traveling costs, local accommodation and subsistence will be covered for the IMFTF Committee Members.

• Small amount of money may be paid to every committee member via bank system based on project budget.

• IMFTF Keynote Speaker Certificate will be sent to the speakers.

4. Other future plans of IMFTF.

    Conclusions:

• New IMFTF committee members’ recommendation is encouraged.

• Young IMFTF committee is also encouraged to be set up.
