On February 19th, Times Higher Education released the Emerging Economies University Rankings 2020 (EEUR 2020). There are 533 universities from 47 countries and regions in total in the ranking. CUP ranked 108th in EEUR 2020 and 32rd among universities in mainland China.

CUP this time scored highest since 2016 and received a high score of 88 points in the industry income index.

Emerging Economies University Rankings 2020 of THE have been published annually since 2014, which compares universities in advanced emerging, secondary emerging and frontier economies in the FTSE Global Equity Index Series.
