On September 30th, Brad Carson and Vivian Wang, President and Vice president of the University of Tulsa visited China University of Petroleum. President Wu Xiaolin and Vice President Zhang Guangqing met with Brad Carson and his delegation. and the two sides held talks and signed a cooperation agreement. Relevant officials of the Academic Affairs Office and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the talks.
Wu Xiaolin welcomed the President of The University of Tulsa and thanked him for attending the 70th anniversary of CUP. She introduced the educational strength, discipline setting and internationalization of CUP, hoping that the two sides would continue to communicate profoundly and establish extensive and deep cooperation in energy education on the basis of great cooperation in the past.
Brad Carson congratulated the 70th anniversary of CUP and introduced the University of Tulsa, hoping to build a stronger partnership with CUP in the future and expand communication channels. He hoped to strengthen cooperation in terms of scientific study, talent training and collaborative innovation, promoting the development of two universities to a new level.
Subsequently, Wu Xiaolin and Brad Carson signed the exchange student program agreement and the double degree program (2+2 joint training) agreement.
During the visit, Brad Carson and his delegation visited the University History Museum and participated in a series of celebration activities such as Towards Carbon Neutrality: Education- Technology -Talent Global Seminar.
