On Feb. 17, 2023, the awarding ceremony of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation 2021 and 2022 was held in Beijing. Professor Zhou Fujian from Unconventional Petroleum Research Institute and Professor Jiang Guancheng from the College of Petroleum Engineering were awarded the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award for 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Zhou Fujian has long been devoted to the research and practice of fracturing theory and technology, and has developed several original fracturing and production enhancement technologies. His research results have been effectively applied in onshore and offshore oil and gas fields, driving the technological progress of oil and gas field exploitation and leading the technological development in this area.
Jiang Guancheng is winner of the National Science Found for Distinguished Yong Scholar. He has been working on reservoir protection problems for more than 30 years, and has established a quantitative reservoir damage prediction and diagnosis technology for oil and gas wells, which has been applied on a large scale at home and abroad with remarkable results, and won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2007 (ranked first).
