On May 15, 2019, Dr. Cen Huang, Acting Vice-Dean and Associate Vice-President of the University of Alberta, Canada, visited CUP. Sun Xudong, Secretary-General of the Worldwide Energy University Network, Li Yongfeng, Director of International Office, and relevant staff from International Office and Karamay Comprehensive Office attended this meeting.

　　Sun Xudong extended a warm welcome to Dr. Huang Cen for his visit. Since the establishment of the Worldwide Energy University Network in September, 2018, the University of Alberta has actively participated in the activities of the Network as a key member, providing valuable advice and suggestions for the formulation of the constitution and the construction of the Network.

　　On behalf of the secretariat, Sun Xudong thanked Dr. Huang Cen and the team of the University of Alberta for their contributions. Sun Xudong introduced to Dr. Huang Cen a series of activities since the establishment of the Secretariat of the Worldwide Energy University Network and the work arrangement of this year. Dr. Huang Cen expressed full recognition of the work of the Secretariat, shared the experience of the University of Alberta in the internationalization construction in recent years, and put forward valuable suggestions on the amendment of the constitution, the logo design and activities of the Worldwide Energy University Network. Subsequently, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the construction of international laboratories WEUN member universities, the annual meeting of the secretariat, the exchange and practice of students in member universities, and the co-sponsoring of academic conferences by the member universities.
