School of Online and Continuing Education is a professional training provider affiliated to CUP and has very close ties with petroleum and petrochemical industries. As the Model Base for Continuing Education in Higher Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Base for Continuing Education of Professional and Technical Personnel of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and one of the first batch of first-grade training institutes for national safety production, our school creates the TOP model for high-level technical personnel, the 5“C” model for expatriates’ training, and the SREP model for internationalized personnel. Our courses and programs meet a wide range of needs, covering management ability training, staff skill enhancement training, professional and technical training, safety, environmental protection and emergency management training, domestic and international certification training, digital talent training, and international talent training.

       By the end of 2023, we have offered training to more than 5000 participants from 48 countries, including Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Dubai, Chad, Indonesia, Sudan, Russia, Australia, Ecuador and Peru etc. We have offered more than 100 petroleum-related courses, involving 10 languages and dozens of overseas petroleum projects. We have proudly won many large international training bids. We have a Joint Training Base at the University of Oklahoma, US, and we have a branch office in Kazakhstan to strengthen our competitiveness and influence in the global training market.
