On November 15, 2023, “Enhanced Recovery Training Course for Andes Petroleum Company” hosted by CNPC International Research Center and organized by School of Network and Continuing Education was successfully held in Conference Room 802 of East Campus. Liu Yining, Vice Dean of School of Network and Continuing Education, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Mr. Liu introduced the development history of the school, summarized the main achievements of international training and the training provided for Andes Petroleum Company comprehensively. Zhang Weidan, Deputy Director of IETC, shared the development of the school’s international training business as well as the wonderful photos of Ecuadorian trainees in the past years, which brought the distance between the school and the trainees closer. Rossana, the class leader, spoke on behalf of the trainees, saying that China University of Petroleum (Beijing), as the best petroleum industry institution in China. She was very honored to participate in this training and thanked Andes Petroleum for the opportunity, looking forward to a full and meaningful time in China.

It is reported that the Senior Management and Petroleum Technology Training Course of Andes Petroleum Company has been hosted by our school since 2010, and it is the 15th edition so far. A total of 11 excellent employees of Ecuadorian nationality participated in this training course. The content of the training course includes theoretical study of enhanced recovery technology, visit to energy enterprises, experience of Chinese cultural activities, and so on. The success of this training course will further deepen the trust between CUP, CNPC International Research Center and Andes Petroleum Company, and promote in-depth cooperation between the three parties in the future.
