Successful Case: Production Staff Training for Chad Refinery
Chad Refinery newly recruited 91 production personnel who were expected to work in positions of refining, water treatment, air separation, air compressor, electrical power station, HSE, and testing. But the reality was that they were not able to take on the job at the very beginning.
Training Content
The training team stayed in the refinery and provided one-year training there, including 6 months in-class lectures, 1-month on-site practice and simulation training and 5 months on-post practice. The training content included basic courses, professional courses, hands-on practice, general management and Chinese language. The aim was to make trainees master the knowledge and skills required for their work and become able to take up their job on their own. They are also expected to learn some Chinese culture.
Training Effect
More than 80% of the trainees have developed a sense of approval and honor to Chinese culture and company; more than 90% of the trainees were well recognized by the company for their good work attitude and spirit; more than 90% of the trainees can do the operation with their tutor’s company; 20% of the trainees were promoted to engineers.
