蔡春芳,福建福清人,教授/研究员,国家杰出青年基金获得者。分别于1987年和1990年获得江汉石油学院(现长江大学)石油地质学专业本科/煤田和油气地质与勘探方向硕士学位,2000年于中国科学院地质研究所获地质学博士学位。分别于2001年1月至2002年1月在英国利物浦大学、2012年2月至2012年8月在美国加州大学河滨分校做高级访问学者。1990年7月至2002年4月在江汉石油学院测试中心从事科研与教学工作,2000年8月至2002年5月在中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所从事博士后研究。2002年5月至2024年9月在中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所从事科研与教学工作、2015年1月以来为中国科学院大学兼职教授。2024年10月入职中国石油大学(北京),正式招收硕士和博士研究生。
主要从事油气—烃源岩对比、储层地质与地球化学和古海洋环境研究,在有机硫同位素地球化学、盆地有机-无机相互作用方面具有专长。主持多项国家自然基金委重点项目、国际合作项目、面上项目和国家油气重大专项。在Nature Indexed 刊物Geology、GCA发表第一作者或通讯作用论文6篇,EPSL、SciAdv(2)、AAPG、Sedimentology等国内外著名刊物发表论文近200篇, 被SCI+核心总引用超过4000次;国家发明专利6项。入选 Elsevier中国学者高引榜单,为全球2%高引作者。
主要学术贡献:研发了烃源岩有机硫同位素测试方法,提出了其应用于油源对比的条件,给出迄今为止最可靠的证据(即有机硫同位素组成),阐明塔里木盆地下古生界原油来自寒武系烃源岩,解决了三、四十亿吨探明原油的油源这一长期困惑中国石油地质学家的难题;提出TSR过程新产生了硫醇、四氢噻吩和金刚烷等化合物,发现硫代金刚烷和四氢噻酚硫同位素值反映了不同TSR阶段,阐明甲烷可以是TSR的主要反应物,定量表征了其碳同位素分馏效应;提出深埋白云岩优质储层可形成于早期白云岩化和后期TSR;发现了铀矿化硫酸盐还原细菌微化石,建立了微生物与油气同时参与的铀成矿模式; 提出了地质历史上超重黄铁矿新的成因模式,解决了地学界长期的争议;首次提出大塘坡锰矿形成于冰融水湖泊环境;发现在缺硫酸盐的环境,甲烷可以被铁锰氧化物直接氧化,并首次在前寒武系识别出这一作用,认为是早期地球甲烷主要的循环形式。
