Objectives
Students who complete the undergraduate program in Environmental Science will:
1. Have firm and broad basic theory and in-depth processional knowledge in the field of Environmental Science
2. Obtain the ability to undertake research and design in the field of Environmental Science
3. Possess innovation spirit and innovation ability
4. Master a foreign language and use basic computer knowledge and general software to program for solving simple environmental science problems.

Graduation & Degree Requirements
Students have to gain at least 176.5 credits to graduate, among which 96.5 credits from compulsory courses, 50 credits from selective courses and 30 credits from practice teaching. Students have to pass CET-4 to gain the Bachelor degree.
Career Prospects
Graduates majoring in Environmental Science are highly recruited in the energy industry in China. Many graduates work for the mining and resources sector (minerals, petroleum and groundwater) to manage environmental compliance, and state government agencies as well as non-government agencies to regulate and manage land and water resources in natural and agricultural landscapes as well as urban environments.
