MEng in Mechanical Engineering
Objectives
The program aims to train senior engineers who can embark on a career in mechanical engineering, including designing, producing, detecting, controlling, applying and maintaining plant equipment, etc. It assists students to develop a rigorous scientific approach, pioneering spirit and strict academic morality.
Upon completion of the program, students are expected to:
1. Mater modern manufacturing technology, electromechanical and hydraulic integration technology, experimental technique, mechanical behavior analysis technology and the theory and technique of application and maintenance.
2. Be able to design and develop new products, apply productive technology and maintain production facility.
3. Carry out scientific research and professional technology work independently.
4. Be highly adaptable.
5. Be proficient in a foreign language; especially obtain the necessary competency in reading foreign language literature.

Graduation & Degree Requirements
Students are required to complete a minimum of 30 credits for graduation.
Career prospects
Most of our graduates filled responsible positions relating to mechanical engineering in petroleum institutions. Some graduates pursue further studies.
