MSc in Safety Science and Engineering
Objectives
This program is designed to impart theoretical and professional knowledge of modern mathematics, information technology, petroleum and petrochemical technology, safety and risk management, accident control and safety engineering to students.
Upon completion of the program, students are expected to:
1. Be aware of the latest scientific research in Safety Science and Engineering, the status quo of safety in production and its development direction.
2. Acquire exceptional ability to do scientific research, solve problems in safety production and think innovatively.
3. Develop a rigorous scientific approach and behave ethically.
4. Be able to do scientific research and development in Safety Science and Engineering.
5. Be competent for senior jobs in industrial enterprises by developing safety technology and doing risk assessment and safety management work
6. Have a good command of a foreign language and obtain the necessary competency in writing and international communication.
