Mathematics Group

I. Pure Mathematics Group

Research

Pure mathematics is to study the basic concepts and structures underlying in mathematics. It focuses on a deeper understanding and an extended knowledge of mathematics itself. Usually, pure mathematics is classified into analysis, algebra and geometry. We are a very active and young research group, and conduct top-quality fundamental research in differential equations, algebraic and geometric topology, differential geometry, fractal geometry.

Organization

Pure Mathematics group has one full professor and three assistant professors. The group leader is Professor Yi Zhang.
