The delegation of University of Dundee led by Wendy Alexander, the Vice President of the university visited China University of Petroleum-Beijing on October 23, 2018. Li Gensheng, the Vice-President and other representatives from colleges and departments attended the meeting.
Li Gensheng warmly welcomed Wendy Alexander and his delegation. The two sides introduced the basic situation of their universities and expressed their willingness to carry out in-depth exchange on the platform of the Worldwide Energy University Network, and to strengthen cooperation in talent training, academic exchanges and scientific research. The two sides agreed to promote the implementation of the joint postgraduate training program as soon as possible, as well as the joint training project of undergraduate and doctoral students between the two universities, so as to cultivate more international talents.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas extensively in many aspects and reached a consensus on the establishment of program management committees and agreed to implement the joint postgraduate training plan as soon as possible.
