Recently, the undergraduate major of Energy Storage Science and Engineering was approved to add in China University of petroleum -Beijing (CUP) by the Ministry of Education.
The new major is based on the preponderant disciplines and excellent faculties of them, such as new energy science and engineering, materials science and engineering, energy and power engineering, chemical engineering and technology, applied chemistry. It perfects CUP’s strategic layout of academic disciplines and targetedly cultivates "high-quality, cutting-edge" talents in the field of energy storage.
