In May 2021, the Foreign Affairs Office of Changping District Government of Beijing actively planned to shoot the short video series of "Foreigners Praise Changping" titled "Beautiful Cross-Country Journey", hoping to spread traditional Chinese culture, promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and tell the stories of China and Changping.

HABAROV ARTYOM, a Turkmenistan international student from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Grade 2018, was invited to take part in the shooting. The host Ma Xiao and HABAROV ARTYOM wore Chinese costumes together, watched the traditional classical dance, and enjoyed the exquisite Spring Festival banquet at the Marriott Hotel Leduo in Changping. They experienced the ancient pot-throwing games, learnt traditional flower arrangement, tasted traditional Chinese food, practiced archery, felt ancient Chinese etiquette culture, and had a "time travel" to the ancient China.

HABAROV ARTYOM has been in China for four years, studying at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in Changping, and considers himself an “real Changping resident”. This is his first time participating in the shooting of a public welfare propaganda video. He prepared carefully for this, practicing his lines and acting at home in advance. He said he loves China and its traditional culture. Through the shooting, he got to know more about Changping district’s rich tour resources, thanked to Beijing's Changping district government foreign affairs office for giving himself such a rare opportunity to practice and experience. He hopes to introduce Chinese culture characteristics of Beijing Changping to more foreign friends, make more foreign friends know Changping gourmet and beautiful scenery, as well as Changping’s history and culture.
