The College of International Education Organized a Special Lecture on Traffic Safety
In order to further enhance the awareness of traffic safety laws and regulations and the awareness of safety and civilization among international students of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and teach international students to care for lives, refuse to violate regulations, prevent road accidents, and build a safe campus, the College of International Education of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) specially invited the former Changping Traffic Detachment policeman, Police Officer Liang Shangli, a member of the Beijing North Vehicle Administration and Changping District’s Case Interpretation Team, gave lectures on traffic safety for international students in Conference Room 306 of the International Exchange Center.
More than 100 international students from Turkmenistan, Chad, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan and other countries attended the lecture. Police Officer Liang Shangli showed a traffic safety warning video for international students. From the perspectives of pedestrians, electric vehicle drivers and motor vehicle drivers, he taught international students about the importance of safe driving, explained the law. Safety accidents are used as examples to educate international students to increase their awareness of prevention, abide by traffic safety laws and regulations, and improve their ability to protect themselves.
Finally, The College of International Education organized all international students to sign a traffic safety commitment The special lecture on traffic safety made the international students of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of traffic safety laws and regulations, improved the awareness of international students to comply with traffic safety laws and regulations, and promoted the protection of personal traffic safety, maintenance of traffic safety order inside and outside the school.
