Students from CIE Had Good Achievement in the 2nd "I Am a Speaker" Lan
On December 13, the final of the Second "I Am a Speaker" Language Art Competition of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) was held in the Art Center of CUPB. Chinese and foreign contestants from different colleges of the university made sincere speeches around the theme of "Great Words and Good Deeds, Heart Language and New Voice" and shared their feelings and understandings.
The contest lasted a month, with three preliminary rounds, two semi-finals and a WeChat vote for the best popularity award before the final. After fierce competition, the competition finally awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 1 best popularity award, 16 excellence awards.
College of International Education has actively promoted and mobilized many outstanding international students to participate in the competition. Al-hamed Ahmed Mohsen Mohammed from Yemen played steadily through the preliminaries and semi-finals. In the final, Mohsen en d "My Adventures of Studying Abroad" as the theme, expressed his deep love for China by telling his unique experience in China and CUPB. His fluent Chinese and excellent ability of speech won the applause of the audience. He eventually won the second prize and the "Best Popularity Award" at the same time. In addition, Galimova Adelina from Russia won the excellence award.
