According to the work arrangement of China University of Petroleum-Beijing, the winter vacation of all international students officially started on January 14th, and will end on February 24th.

According to the length of winter vacation, in order to guarantee the management of international students and their safety and stability during thevacation, College of International Education in advance made the administrative staff holiday duty table, and disscused and planned the work tasks of this winter vacation combined with the previous situation.

In order to understand the students' location and plan during the vacation, College of International Education designed and released a questionnaire on the whereabouts of the winter vacation among all the students, collecting relevant information about their vacation plan.

On January 14th, College of International Education and Gaozhiyuan Property Management Company was carried out in consultation with a winter vacation property management and service arrangement, further defined the three apartment buildings on duty arrangement during winter vacation, fire safety and visitor management priorities, such as security patrol and inspection plan, discussed management and activities of the students who will stay in university .

On January 18th, College of International Education and Gaozhiyuan Property Management Company jointly carried out a dormitory safety and hygiene inspection for international students, and made a record of the problems found in the inspection. In view of the fire and safety hazards in some rooms, the teacher in charge criticized and educated the students concerned and ordered them to rectify immediately. In view of the problems existing in the daily management of the apartment and the room facilities, College of International Education communicated with the property management personnel on how to ensure water and electricity security and safety inspection.

Two international students were hospitalized for illness on January 22nd and 23rd and are in stable condition. College of International Education is working closely with the CUPB Hospital and relevant professional institutions to help them recover.

On February 1st, College of International Education together with the Gaozhiyuan Property Management Company will organize a activity of making Chinese dumplings and dinner party for international students to welcome the Chinese New Year.
