College of International Education Held a Health Education Lecture for Internati

In order to popularize health knowledge and prevent all kinds of diseases, especially infectious diseases, College of International Education held a health education lecture with the theme of "Care About Health, Care for Life" in classroom 112 of No.3 teaching building on December 13th. Nearly 100 international students participated in this activity.

During the lecture, the doctor Wang Yonghong of CUPB hospital combined with a series of medical treatment and daily exposure to consulting case, analyzed the common diseases etiology for the presence of international students, popularized the basic local disease prevention and treatment knowledge, and emphasised on key infectious diseases such as  pathology, transmission way and the method of prevention and cure of tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.

Miss. Xu Ling of Student Affairs Office, College of International Education started with the common problems of medical treatment and insurance claims of international students, and explained the basic knowledge of comprehensive medical insurance, key clauses of insurance, required claim materials and claim process. Mr. Rahman made supplementary translation in English and Russian, and emphasized the relevant provisions of outpatient medical treatment in the insurance clauses.

 

After the lecture, several lecturers had an interactive exchange with students and answered their questions.

 

In the future, College of International Education will continue to carry out healthy education activities for international students, so as to improve the health knowledge level of the majority of students better and ensure their successful completion of their studies.
