To enhance fire safety awareness, improve self-rescue prevention capabilities, and create a fire safety cultural atmosphere, on November 9, 2021, the day of National Fire Safety Day, the College of International Education specially invited Ma Xiaowei, the fighting team leader of Yongan Rescue Station, to held a online bilingual lecture on "Preventing Electric Bicycle and Battery Fire Hazards" for our teachers, students and property staff.

Ma Xiaowei explained the case of fires caused by electric bicycles and batteries on campus, introduced self-rescue escape methods after a fire, and in accordance with the dormitory fire safety management regulations, popularized the fire escape precautions for teachers, students and property staff.

In the questioning session after the lecture, international students and property staff consulted Ma Xiaowei on fire safety issues that may occur in real life, and Ma Xiaowei gave professional and specific answers. After the meeting, all international students and property staff signed a fire safety informed commitment.

Through this bilingual fire safety lecture on "Preventing Electric Bicycles and Battery Fire Hazards", the teachers, students and property staff of the College International Education further strengthened their awareness of fire safety precautions, and gained a more specific understanding of how to use electric vehicles and fire equipment safely.
