MATLAB Training Course Successfully Held
On October 14-15th International Students Academic Platform (ISAIP) conducted a MATLAB seminar. The instructor of the seminar was David Cova a Venezuelan third year master student from the Geophysics department.
The seminar was aimed at introducing students to the basics of MATLAB and giving them a general understanding of the working interface of the software. Main modules on the first day of the course included introduction to the MATLAB interface, Basic commands and operations. The second day was mainly focused on helping students get familiar and comfortable with the software and the different functions available in the software.
Attendance was good and it showed the interest of students to attend such trainings. The feedback from the atendees was also positive and also pointed out some more areas of interest for future academic gatherings.
We would like to thank all the students who were part of the organization, the instructor, the students who attended and the support from the International students office rendered towards this organization of this event.
