CUPB Delegation paid a visit to MUST and MRPAM in Mongolia
A delegation composed by members from College of International Education and School of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering paid a visit to Mongolia University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM) from December 2 to 6, 2018.
At MUST, Dr. Tumurpurev Nmnan, Vice President for Research and Cooperation, Dr. Purev Lkhamsuren, Director of School of Geology and Mining, Dr. J. Tseveenjav, Consulting Professor, Executive Director of Petroleum Training, Researching and Informing Center and faculty members from School of Geology and Mining met with the CUPB delegation. Two sides talked about the cooperative opportunities in student exchange, joint degree program, summer camp, field visit programs, and other areas. MUST also invites people from CUPB to join their 60th anniversary and an international conference in 2019.
At MRPAM, Mr. Dashpurev Buriad, Head of Public Administration and management division and staff from the division and financial officer met with the CUPB delegation. Both sides cordially traced back the collaboration history of the Authority and University and look forward to more ways of cooperation, such as short-term training, CUPB professors delivering lectures and courses at MRPAM and joint research projects.
CUPB delegation also met with alumni at Mongolia, had conversations about their current career development and warmly welcome them get back to Beijing and pay a visit to CUPB.
CUPB has set up cooperative relations with MUST and MRPAM in 2002, and from then on, over 90 Mongolian students completed their study at CUPB with the financial support from MRPAM. And currently, there are 17 Mongolian students studying on campus.
