CIE team won an outstanding result in the CUPB student long-distance running tea

On December 8, 2018, China University of Petroleum (Beijing) held the student long-distance running group relay race in memory of December ninth movement. College of International Education won the sixth place in the team relay team, first place in group B, and also achieved the excellent organization award in group B.

 

The December ninth movement is also known as the December ninth Anti-Japanese and National salvation movement. On December 9, 1935, thousands of students from universities and middle schools in Peiping (Beijing) held a demonstration to against Japanese aggression and national salvation, opposing the autonomy of north China, resisting Japanese imperialism, and demanding the preservation of China's territorial integrity, thus setting off a new upsurge of national resistance and national salvation. On December 12, 1935, students in Peiping held the fifth demonstration, with shouting slogans such as "Aid Suiyuan Anti-Japanese War" and "All Parties Unite". It was a large-scale patriotic movement of students led by the communist party of China. In order to commemorate the December 9 student movement, carry forward the spirit of patriotism, and to inspire patriotic feelings, guide university students in the new era under the background to understand the tradition of "December 9", most of the colleges and universities across the country join in the 10,000 meters’ relay, rekindled students patriotism, take concrete actions, and giving blessing to the motherland prosperity.

They are from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Sudan, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ghana.
