CMG Reservoir Modeling Software Training
On 4th November, 2017 ISAIP held a CMG® reservoir modeling software training session. The training instructor was Rashid S. Mohammad who is a PhD candidate in Oil-Gas Field Development Engineering, at China University of Petroleum-Beijing.
The ive of the training was to introduce students to the software and help them understand the use of each module of CMG®, to lay a foundation and make it easy for students to be able to explore and use the simulator on their own in future.
The lecture began with a general introduction to the software and then detailed explanations on how each of the modules (IMEX® GEM® STARS® WINPROP®) works and for which kind of simulation each module is designed for.
Attendance was good and the concentration of the students throughout the training was also very good. The feedback indicated that the students understood and liked the way the training was delivered.
We would like to thank the students who attended the training and the members of ISAIP who worked tirelessly to make the training a success. We would like to further give special thanks to our instructor who spared his time to conduct such a great training.
