In order to further study and publicize and implement Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of The 19th National Congress of the CPC, The Second/Third/Fourth/Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, China will welcome the new century and new spectrum of culture, further carry forward the oil spirit in petroleum universities, inherit the oil culture, and strive to promote the education of "Learn oil, love oil, dedicate yourself to oil". From March 16 to May 21, 2021, the Organizing Committee of China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition decided to hold the Fifth National Petroleum University Petroleum cultural works collection, selection and exhibition activity. The specific notice is as follows:

I.  Solicitation objects

 

Teachers and students of petroleum universities are encouraged to participate in the competition.

 

Ⅱ. Theme of the work

 

Celebrating the birthday of the people's Republic of China. 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The work should review the glorious history of the Party, eulogize the great achievements of the Party, combine "the history of China's petroleum development" with learning "the four histories", focus on the red theme, highlight the characteristics of petroleum, and panoramically show the petroleum youth and petroleum students (students or graduates) in colleges and universities to devote themselves to the petroleum career and carry out the petroleum education under the leadership of the Party, the brilliant deeds of great practice, and the struggle course of carrying forward the spirit of petroleum and striving for innovation. The participants should make use of the oil culture masterpiece with the oil spirit to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,.

 

Ⅲ. Requirements for works

 

The works are divided into text works, image works and new media works. The content shall be around the above topics and meet the following requirements:

 

l  Text Works (unlimited style, in Chinese language)

 

a. the work requires a distinctive theme, novel intention, a sense of truth, positive content, fluent text and clear logic;

 

b. the number of words in the works (except for poetry genre) is more than 1000 words and less than 5000 words;

 

c. Typeface: the title of the article uses the small three bold, the text uses the small four song style, 1.5 times the line spacing;

 

d. the signature of the article is at the end of the article, indicating the author's school, name, contact information and mailing address, and using the song style character No. 4 in a unified way;

 

e. the number of authors can not exceed 3, either by a single author or by multiple authors;

 

l  Works of image (including calligraphy, painting, photography)

 

a. calligraphy works: size not more than four feet of Xuan paper (69cm × 138cm);

 

b. painting works: there are no limits on the types of Chinese painting, watercolor / water powder painting, cartoon, etc., and the size is not more than the opposite opening (about 53cm × 76cm);

 

c. photographic works: it must be original, with the total amount of personal contributions not exceeding 6 (sequence number shall be marked for group photos), and no less than 2MB for single works; except for the processing of the movie tone, the original picture of the photography shall not be modified by using the computer darkroom technology. The necessary text explanation shall be provided for the submitted pictures.

 

l  New media works (including songs, micro films, animation works)

 

a. song works: original, close to the theme, unlimited form. The length of the song shall not be less than 3 minutes, not more than 5 minutes. The submission format is limited to MP3, MP4, wma. Lyrics shall be attached when submitting. The submission format is word, and the author shall not be more than 5 in principle.

 

b. micro film works: it must be original, and the film time shall be no less than 5 minutes and no more than 15 minutes. It is required to have complete story plot and the content shall be closely related to the theme. The submission format is limited to avi, MOV, MP4, and the resolution is no less than 1920 * 1080. Clear picture, clear voice, and subtitle is advocated. In principle, the author shall not be more than 5.

 

c. animation works: it shall be original, and the video time shall not be less than 5 minutes and no more than 10 minutes. It requires a complete story and content that is closely related to the theme. The submission format is limited to avi, MOV, MP4, and the resolution is not less than 1920 * 1080. Clear picture, clear voice, and subtitle is advocated. In principle, the author shall not be more than 5.

 

IV. Requirements for submission of works

 

a. Text works, photography and new media: together with the application form and summary form, they shall be sent to the special bidding email of the competition by the way of attachment before 5:00 pm on April 11th, 2021: 2512775124@qq.com . Email theme format: "theme text / Photography / new media (specific category, such as song) works - author’s school - author name - article / Photography / song / micro film / animation topic". The naming format of a single work is: category - author’s school - author name - title of work. Please do not show personal information such as the author’s school, the author's name and so on in the work.

 

b. calligraphy and painting works in the categroy of image works: scan or take photos of the works (the work shall be clear and easy to display on the Internet after amplification) before 5:00 pm on April 11th, 2021, and send them to the special mailbox of the competition in the form of attachment along with the registration form and summary form 2512775124@qq.com . Email theme format: "theme calligraphy / painting - author’s school - author name - Calligraphy / painting topic". The naming format of a single work is: category - author’s school - author name - title of work. Please do not show personal information such as the author’s school, the author's name and so on in the work.

 

V. Selection of works and award setting

 

The entries will be classified and anonymous evaluated by professional judges, and the first, second and third prizes and excellent awards will be selected according to the score level. The organizing committee will conduct online centralized exhibition.

 

First prize: 3, award certificate and bonus of 1000 yuan;

 

Second prize: 5, award certificate and bonus 800 yuan;

 

Third prize: 10% of the total number of submitted works, and the award certificate;

 

Excellent award: 15% of the total number of submitted works, and the award certificate.

 

VI. Precautions

 

a. the work requires the original of the contestants, and the judges will review the works, and all the plagiarism will be disqualified and notified to the unit where they are located;

 

b. each sub competition area shall organize the contribution collectively, and send the packing documents and entry forms to the special mailbox of the competition in strict accordance with the submission requirements of materials and works (if not deemed invalid works according to the requirements) 2512775124@qq.com ；

 

c. the winning works of previous times shall not participate in the competition, and if found, they shall be deemed as plagiarism;

 

d. no competition fee or submission;

 

e. the contestant shall have independent and complete copyright in his works, and shall also ensure that the works submitted by the contestant do not infringe any rights of the third party including copyright, portrait right, reputation right and privacy right. At the same time, the organizer has the permanent right to use the work, and the organizer has the right to use the work for exhibition, publicity, publication and other purposes. All participants are deemed to agree with the contents of this clause. All legal liabilities arising from the failure of the above guarantees shall be borne by the contestant himself and have nothing to do with the organizer;

 

f. the final interpretation right and copyright of the entries shall be owned by the Organizing Committee of the competition.
