China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Competition Rules of Student Swimming Competition in 2020

Ⅰ.Purpose and task


In order to further promote the development of students' swimming, enrich campus sports cultural life, stimulate students' enthusiasm for physical exercise, improve students' health awareness, spread health knowledge, improve health level, and enhance sports competition level, The 2020 student swimming competition of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) will be held soon.


Ⅱ.Time and place of competition


  1. Competition Time: October 17 (Saturday) 09:00am


  2. Location: China University of Petroleum (Beijing) natatorium


Ⅲ.Competition groups and events


Men's and women's events (limited to 2 entries per person):


  1. Freestyle: 50m freestyle leg, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle


  2. Breaststroke: 50m breaststroke leg, 50m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke


  3. Backstroke: 50m backstroke and 100m backstroke


  4. Butterfly: 50m Butterfly


Ⅳ.Registration method


  • Registration qualification


  1. The students, postgraduates and international students who are officially registered in our university and have certain swimming skills can sign up for the competition.


  2. In order to ensure the safety of competition and prevent the occurrence of sports accidents, students suffering from the following diseases are not allowed to participate in sports competitions.


  • Anyone with a heart disease.


  • Other chronic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, tuberculosis, hepatitis, kidney disease, endocrine diseases, etc.).


  • Organ transplantation.


  • Postoperative recovery period.


Diseases not included above that cannot participate in sports competitions.



 c.Undergraduate students, international students, preparatory students and graduate students form teams to participate in the competition. Each team shall have 1 team leader (person in charge) and 1 coach (contact person). Each college is responsible for the insurance of the participants.


    d.Report items according to the competition schedule (see the Excel application form for details). Each person is limited to 2 items. If there are less than 3 applicants for each event, the competition will be cancelled. The College of sports, humanities and arts will inform the relevant departments to adjust the entries.

  • Registration time and place


  1. Registration deadline: before 17:00, October 10, 2020 (Saturday).


  2. Online registration is adopted for this competition. Only international students are allowed to participate in the competition. The registration method will be notified to the wechat group of students in the school.


Ⅴ.Reward and scoring methods

  1. The first eight places are accepted (for the event with less than 8 participants, the actual number of participants will be reduced by 1), and the place will be counted according to the actual number of participants, and 9 points will be added for any participant who breaks the university’s previous swimming record;


  2. The top eight in group total score.



  3. Four sports excellent organization awards are selected by the college, and the selection criteria are as follows:


  1. Good faith and civilized participation, no cheating, participants finish the game safely. (35 points)


  2. The publicity effect is good before, during and after the competition. At least the official account carries out a push publicity or report. The score level can be set according to the average browse volume of the publicity push, and the highest score of the university with the highest average browsing point is 35 points, and the ranking is reduced by 2 points in turn. (35 points)


  3. Active during registration and the registration is carried out according to the requirements and the number of students. The organization of the college is standardized. The score of this item is calculated according to the participation rate. The participation rate = the actual number of participants / the number of applicants × 100%. (30 points)
