Dean’s Message
The College of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering always works in accordance with the sprit the China University of Petroleum- Beijing, i.e. seeking truth from the facts, hard working, patriotic dedication, and innovative development. Believing in the teaching principle that student are foremost, complying the norms, and seeking innovation, the college has made remarkable achievements in teaching, research, subject construction, personnel education, and public service. Due to the fact that the college has reasonable major arrangements, outstanding subject advantage, solid teaching community, and strong comprehensive strength, the college is one of the most energetic colleges with the most development potentials in the China University of Petroleum- Beijing.
Reviewing the history, the college has educated several generations of personnel with mixed characteristics of solid foundations, wide knowledge, strong ability, and high qualities. The students work around the country and has made great contributions in petroleum- chemical engineering. Visioning the future, we will actively seek the cooperation and exchange with universities all over the world, keep on creating the unique yet harmonious culture of the college, and enhance the capacity of competition. Meanwhile, the college will also delicate to the transforming of CUPB to a first-class research intensive university in petroleum- chemical engineering in the world.
