The field of geological engineering is a subject area that comprehensively utilizes multidisciplinary theories such as geology, geophysics, geochemistry, and engineering, and conducts engineering evaluation and engineering design for mineral resource exploration, geothermal resource exploration and development. In order to reflect the characteristics of cultivation, the geological engineering field of our school mainly focuses on scientific and technological research, engineering development and engineering planning and management in oil and gas field geological exploration engineering and oil and gas field development geological engineering. This field is related to mineral census and exploration, earth exploration and information technology, mineralogy - petrology - mineral deposits, structural geology, geochemistry and other disciplines.
