Research Group Introduction
[1] Dr Qi Liu is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director at Research Centre of Enhanced Oil Recovery of the UPRI at China University of Petroleum-Beijing.
[2] He is also the deputy director of Beijing Key Laboratory for Greenhouse Gas Storage and CO2-EOR.
[3] Dr Liu is also awarded the Outstanding Youth Talents program of China University of Petroleum-Beijing.
[4] Dr Liu was Research Associate at the Centre for Innovation in Carbon Capture and Storage (CICCS) of Heriot-Watt University from July 2012 to January 2016.
[5] He obtained a PhD of Chemical Engineering in 2012 at the University of Nottingham (UK).
[6] Dr Qi Liu’s research fuscous on CCUS (CO2 geological storage and CO2-EOR), Chemical (Nanoparticles) and Microbial EOR technologies for both conventional and unconventional oil & gas, and wellbore integrity.
[7] Dr Liu also acts an expert of ISO/TC 265 at WG4.
