Ph.D. Programs

Energy Environmental Science and Engineering

Program Introduction

The interdisciplinary "Energy Environmental Science and Engineering" is a typical emerging discipline, with the characteristics of multi-disciplinary and multi-field interdisciplinary research and penetration, and has always been a frontier hotspot of international academic research. The interdisciplinary doctoral program of "Energy Environmental Science and Engineering" relies on the construction of three first-level discipline doctoral programs of chemical engineering and technology, geological resources and geological engineering, and chemistry. It is deeply planted in the petroleum and petrochemical industry and serves the national and regional major environmental protection strategies. Four multidisciplinary research directions are featured in the collaborative development of oil and gas pollution identification and risk assessment, high-efficiency catalytic conversion of oil and gas pollution, oilfield ecological restoration and sustainable development, and new energy pollution control mechanisms and technologies.
