Research Areas

Oil and gas seepage theory and application, oil and gas field development theory and system engineering.
His research focuses on the seepage theory and application of heavy oil/oil sands thermal recovery (multivariate thermal fluid, SAGD and solvent-assisted), shale gas multi-field coupled seepage theory and FMM-based shale gas reservoir utilization evaluation. Teaching: "Physics of Oil Layer", "Seepage Mechanics", "Advanced Seepage Mechanics"
