为全面提高我院研究生培养质量，鼓励研究生在国外刊物发表论文，我院于2012年2月制定了《地球科学学院关于提高研究生招生培养质量的几项规定》，提出对在国外期刊发表高水平学术论文的研究生予以奖励。
2012年6月，我院对2012届毕业研究生实施了奖励政策。经过自主申报和学院审核，博09级龚承林和硕09级高平两位同学分获10000元和3000元奖励。
